The story was set in the Oriental Plaza in Johannesburg during apartheid era.

THE MAIN CHARACTER

Mrs Nebo(Foreign Affairs Minister Mr Clive Nebo s wife )is the main character.
She lives in a white suburb of Houghton and she is very wealthy.
She was of medium height with heavy loins and she was stubborn.


 PLOT

This story is about Mrs Nebo,a wife of  a future Foreign Affairs Minister Mr Clive Nebo. In the beggining  the chauffeur drove Mrs Nebo with her friend Margaret  in a mercedes with the two escorts to the oriental plaza in Fordsburg. The two ladies were on a shopping expedition and entered the portals of the plaza. Mrs Nebo and Margaret bought some shoes ,jewellery and swimming costumes. In the middle Mrs Nebo saw a lovery dresss on a dummy in a shop window and decided to buy it .Later on she saw a silk scarf which matches her dress and decided to buy it. The scarf cost 110 rands and by the time she realised that she was 15 rand short ,she decided to give Mr Sakur (shopkeeper) a cheque which they do not accept. Mrs Nebo and Mr Sakur end up arguing just because he refused to accept  her chegue which she normally uses in Sandton and Rosebank. The argument didnt stop and then Margaret told Mr Sakur to accept Mrs Nebo cheque just because she is a wife of a foreign minister. Mr Sakur ignored her since he have laws and rules to follow and all the customers must treated in the same way rich or poor.By the end Mrs Nebo decided not to leave the shop without having the scarf.When the situation was fraught, Mr Sader who is also a trader decided to buy a scarf and present it to Mrs Nebo as gift. Mrs Nebo accept it and smiled happly after receiving the gift and thanked the traders. Before leaving the the shop she turned to Mrs Sakur and said as for people  like you there will be no place for them in the new democratic South Africa.

THROUGH THE TUNNEL

The setting of this story took place in an unknown country at a crowded beach and the other part is in the wild waters.

The plot of the story is about an english boy called Jerry and his mother that is on vacation in an unknown country. Both want to please each other ,without being too demanding. Jerry's mother dont want to be overprotective over Jerry. The second morning Jerry decided to go check out the wild, rocky bay. He saw a few young boys jump of a high rock and decided to also do so. Once he got stuck in a hole but luckly got out.When he got home he started bleeding from his ears and eyes and looked very pale. He never told his mother what really happend because he knew she is too overprotective.


The main I will say is Jerry. He was an eleven year old English boy. He was on vacatio with his mother. His mother was sometimes overprotective. Jerry tried to make friends with older boys but they rejected him once the found out he is a foreigner. He became jealous of the way the older boys could swim and go through narrow gaps in the rocks and started to attepmt to also do it. One time he eventually got stuck and through a lot of struggel he got out. He went home and told his mother that he can hold his breath for more than 2 minutes

Oh my goodness creating this blog brought a lot of problems in my life. Due to the fact that I don't attend my tutorial lessons I was so far behind with the work, but eventually caught up with all the work. Creating this blog Ive learned that it is very important to always attend your lectures. It hels you to understand what to do and how to do it. I actually never knew that someting like this existed so I"ve develop my knowledge through this. this just for once shown again that we think you know everything but eventually we dont.
